XRP robots can provide FTC mentors a low‑cost, hands‑on tool that can teach core FTC concepts on a small scale. This session shares our team’s firsthand experience using XRP robots over the summer to onboard new FTC students, including those with zero coding or robotics background. We’ll walk through what we learned as students built, customized, and programmed XRP robots to practice FTC‑style teleop and autonomous challenges. While we’re still discovering everything these robots can do, we’ll share what worked, what surprised us, and how XRP Robots provided an affordable, hands‑on tool for engaging new and prospective members.
